This book was written to fit the Denver Schools third grade social studies curriculum. It teaches about communities, map skills, and government, as well as a brief history of Denver and the surrounding areas. Many color and historical black and white pictures add to the appeal of this book. Also included is a section with pictures of Denver now and then.
